We are open from 8am to 8pm, 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day)

4. How do I find the IGA catalogue specials?

Click the Dowload IGA Catalogue link on our Home Page. You can even view our in-store  specials by clicking on the Weekly Best Buys link.

5. How often do you go to the markets for your fresh produce?

Our buyers are at the markets every week day and again on Sundays to select the best fruit and vegetables for our customers. We also have a personal relationship with many local growers and visit them on a regular basis to select produce. We believe that fresh is best and take pride in only selling the best quality fruit and vegetables at our store.

6. What is your return/refund policy?


We strive to ensure our customers are always 100% satisfied with their purchases. If for some reason you are not happy with an item, please return it for a full refund with a receipt from the purchase.

7. Can I buy fresh flowers at your store?

Yes. Our flowers are delivered fresh from the flower farm 3 times a week. We stock an assortment of mixed bunches and boxed displays, perfect to treat yourself or that someone special!

8. I need gluten-free and organic products. Can I get them at Winthrop Gardens Supa IGA?

Yes. We are aware that many of our customers want or need specialised products, and we are constantly expanding our range of gluten-free, organic and gourmet items.

9. How do I request an item I don't see on your shelves?

If you can't find a favourite item, or if you are wondering if an item is available, be sure to ask a staff member and they can check with the Store Manager. Alternatively you can email us your request on the Contact page on this web site.

10. I’m organising a special event and need a special order – can you help?

Yes. We are always happy to help our local schools and community organisations and can assist in orders of food and drinks at competitive prices. Just ask our store manager for advice.
We also offer party platters of meats, cheeses and other finger foods at both our Deli and our in-store Lenard’s Chicken. Ask our friendly staff for advice and ordering information.

11. Do you have a newsletter?


Yes – we have a monthly newsletter featuring our latest products, new ideas, recipes and news from our store and our School Benefits Program. Click here to visit our Newsletter subscription page.


12. Do you offer a reward card?

Yes – we have 2 customer reward programs. You can sign up to our Frequent Shopper Card Program for yourself and/or our Schools Benefits Program for your nominated school to receive the rewards. Both programs earn 1% on all purchases for you and/or your school. (Tobacco products excluded)
